Kindness costs nothing, yet not everyone offers it!!!

Kindness Is Free, Yet Not Everyone Chooses It In a world driven by deadlines, performance metrics, and constant competition, kindness can sometimes feel like an overlooked leadership skill rather than a human necessity. The truth is, kindness costs nothing—but it requires intention. It is reflected in the way we listen without interrupting, acknowledge someone's effort, offer constructive feedback with empathy, or simply ask, "How are you?" and genuinely wait for the answer. Not every wave needs chasing !

Today, we sat by the sea and watched the waves. They came rushing in, one after another, never missing a beat. There was something beautiful about their rhythm, but all I could think was... Why do they have to move so fast? Why can't they just slow down? As I watched them, I realized I wasn't questioning the waves. I was questioning my own life. Lately, everything feels like it's moving too quickly. I'm grateful for the warmth life still offers, just like the warmth I felt sitting by the shore. But if I'm being honest, what my heart craves isn't more movement—it's more moments.  More stillness!! More time to breathe!!  More space to simply be!! Maybe the waves were never asking me to match their pace. Maybe they were reminding me that it's okay to choose my own.
